I made a post the other day mentioning a few reasons why you should hire myself as your agent before you sell a home. This post is going to be directed to why you should hire me as your agent before you buy a home. As it is true you are completely capable and able to buy or sell homes by yourself let me give you a few reasons why having an agent makes this a better journey.

As a buyer the last thing you want is the home you love to go off market before you can get your offer in. Although just because you have an agent working for you doesn't promise ever offer you put in will be accepted, it does help when you have a professional that knows each step and what the homes are worth etc.

As in any career field the people that go to school for it, study it, and work it everyday usually know the most about it, the in and outs of it. I don't know about you but I'm not going to just walk into a hospital and start operating on someone! I know nothing about the human body, so I leave that to the doctors if myself, my kids, or my husband needs a surgery we're going to the hospital we are not cutting each other open in the living room to try our hand at it ourself!

Although buying a home may not seem as risky as doing a full surgery on someone it can have its risk and the simple step of not hiring an agent can cost you the home you really dreamed of. Everyone has jobs and you probably do your job better than I ever could, so when it comes to buying homes it is in your best interest to hire someone that does it day in and day out and knows ever side of it like myself!

As your agent we will sit down to be sure we are on the same page before we start the journey, first we will be sure you have your financing in order no matter what that consist of. Making sure that when the perfect home comes along you can afford it so, we aren't looking at places that aren't reasonable for you! We will also have a few conversations about things you want and need in a home and as the journey goes those things may change that is perfectly fine and honestly expected.

As your agent once I have all the details on what your looking for and the information on what must happen to get you to where your looking to go then we will get a game plan together. Sometimes people sit down to figure out the financial part of buying a home and realize they aren't ready yet so they work on whatever they need to for a few months or so and then we start the search. There are many amazing mortgage lenders out there that can discuss what needs to be done to get you where you need to be. There's no better day than today to start looking into that. If you have everything in place and you're ready to start the journey of finding your home than we start the search when I say every home buying and selling journey is different I mean every single one! There's no two that are the same, there are so many reasons why people buy or sell homes. Some times people walk into the first home we see and they put in an offer that gets accepted and they close within no time. Sometimes we look at multiple homes and find ourself still searching for the perfect place and that's ok! There's no rush to the journey.

As your agent I'm in your corner that means if we put in a reasonable offer on a home you love but the sellers counter with a unrealistic counter offer I will be the one telling them we reject it if that's what you choose is best for you. If we do inspections and there's to many major issues I will be by your side to see if its worth you going through the transaction or not. There are so many things that come into pay when buying a home. Don't go through it without a professional in your corner!

As your agent I have access to stuff that you do not I can pull property information that you may not think to pull or know anything about if you purchase without an agent. When we go to see homes I am the one that in contact with the sellers or their agents you aren't required to speak to any of them about anything. I do all the legal paperwork for the contract you do not have to worry about hiring a lawyer, so everything is legal.
